VS2022 Released

Hi,
On one computer the trial download was for "Corel_VideoStudio_2022_ppc_brkws" which was in Chinese but on another computer it was for "VideoStudio2022_Installer" which was in English. Anyway, I love the new ProRes SmartProxy which improved the responsiveness of edits, at least on my system. The non-linear keyframing for variable speed is pretty cool as well.

I've bought it. This WILL be the last version I buy if the damn thing crashes. Instead, by the time 2023 arrives, I'll buy the full version of DaVinci Resolve. Yeah, it's expensive, but so is time and energy that's lost to crashes and having to save every other change.

Joy... the new version has ENHANCED - Intel® 11th Gen Core Technology Optimization support.

I built myself a 12th gen rig to replace my 10th gen machine. 2023 for 12th gen support then. :/

I finally got the installer instead of that garbage.

From where were you downloading? Nobody else else got a "chinese installer"

I downloaded the stub .exe from Corel and... it's Chinese.

This is going really well.

See the post from Vdanny three above yours. He reports two different installers on two different computers, one of which gave him Chinese too. It seems to me there may be a confusion caused by what is on different Corel servers around the world, and which server you have access to.

Good news!

The amazon stub downloader .exe 'thing' now downloads and isn't stopped by Windows 11.

Update:
Installed and working without issue (well, it opens and doesn't crash straight away). I'll create a project over the weekend.
