Hi, I'm a new user and i'm actually learning the program. I would like to know how can I catch color on a canvas Image and put it on my favorite list if possible. Exemple, I put my company LOGO on my canvas and I want to create a rectangle with the same color of that logo. How can I read color to use it further.
Thank's

Re: Favorite colors
I use the free image manipulation program called GIMP.
Load the logo image you want to sample a color, use the eyedropper color picker and select the desired color.
Create a new image the height / width dimensions of your project. Select PNG as the background. Use the paint bucket fill tool to fill the new image with the color you selected.
You can use the rectangle tool to mark out the center area that needs to show your content, leaving a boarder of the color and width you set. Delete the center area.
SAVE as a PNG, give it a name. Place a copy in the appropriate VideoStudio folder.
In VS, select the desired resource such as the Color Chips library. Use Explorer to drag and drop the created file into the VS folder.
Done. Use it on an overlay track below the image/video you want to show in the framed opening.

Re: Favorite colors
The eyedropper in both MS Paint and Paint 3D can capture the RGB information. Both apps are part of Windows 10.jean wrote: How can I read color to use it further.
