VS 2021 Ultimate - How to add shadow to overlay videos

Post by cybernick »

I am cutting a video interview and I would like to add shadows to the overlay videos. So the shadow dropping to the background image will create a hovering effect.
The only way I can do is via advance motion. But then the keyframes creates me an issue since I slice the video to put it in a side to show some images. In such case this creates position keyframes and the videos start moving around.
Also drop shadow effect did not work.
It is shame that I can not put simply shadow to an overlay as if I am putting border.
Any suggestions?

To stop the video moving arround, when you have set the first keyframe, right click the keyframe for Copy and Paste to All

Yes thank you for the answer.
I find out that workaround also. But the video I cut is a video podcast and there are a lot angles like this. Therefore it is very time consuming. But I will try to find a solution by copying and pasting attributes.
