Highlight a specific subject on video clip

I have VS 2021.

I put together a soccer highlight video about 7 min long using probably 25 clips-no prob. My wife is suggesting I try to highlight my son in a couple of these clips so people know what they should see in the clip. Is this possible?

Not thru the whole clip but in the beginning as a way to say 'this is the person you want to watch' and then it goes away. My wife suggested a colored circle but anything would probably work.

Ideas?

There's more than 1 way to do this. Track motion has been suggested, but masks and using a decoration (arrows, pointing finger) would also work. You could combine a decoration item with track motion for a better effect.

It's better to mark him only when he scores or aid a dramatic move to victory.
