Windows 11
Among other annoyances, Windows 11 will not run a "Smart Package." It must be run from within the VS program. I wonder how VS 2022 will function vis-a-vis this situation? No problem with Windows 10.

Re: Windows 11
Havin only upgraded to Win 11 about 10 days ago, this caught my eye. I don't deal very often with smart packages, so haven't noticed any problem so far. But I assume you mean double clicking on the smart package when VS is closed, and using it to open VS?

Re: Windows 11
Yes, clicking VSP from the "Smart Package" causes an immediate crash to the desktop.

Re: Windows 11
Sorry -- just a question of timing. I take it VS is closed when you click on the VSP. But by the sound of it, it opens briefly then crashes? Or is VS in fact open when you click on the VSP as opposed to going to File > Open...?

Re: Windows 11
I've been using Windows 11 for about 2 months, but I haven't had any problems with it.
No problem found. However, in Transitions and FX Filters, there are 3 icons
It is marked with an X on a white background.
But if you use them all, there is no problem.
See Attachment.

Re: Windows 11
Hmmm... I don't have any of those white with cross thumbnails either in Transitions or FX... The Crossfade transition is, moreover, my favourite and most used transition. Were they that way when you installed or have they only recently appeared that way?
Have you tried resetting VS by renaming the 24.0 folder in C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64) to 24.0_OLD. Then restart VS. It will take longer to open fully as that folder will be being rebuilt. But I would have thought it would get rid of those white with X thumbnails.

Re: Windows 11
It was installed last December 15th. from the first time I installed it. marked with an X.
So when I reverted to Windows 10, there was no X and it was fine.
When I reinstalled Windows 11, there was an X mark, but there is no problem in using it.
I am using it. Of course I renamed the folder to 24.0_OLD.
