Exported Video stops playing. VS2021U

Hi All.

I have been going thru a video downloaded from my old Hi8 cassettes and been trimming it into various segments. I am "Saving the Trimmed clips" to be able to make coherent videos at some later date. The clips are rendered as an *.mp4 file.

I play each one with VLC and some do not play to completion. They just stop. One plays till the 14 minute mark and stops. Another plays till the 17-18 minute mark. File Explorer shows that they should be in the order of 30 min long. One long clip play thru till the end.

Any one have any thoughts?

Have you tried another player program? I've had the experience of video files halting in VLC (at the same point each time) and having them play all the way through in Windows Media Player or some other player.

Tried 3 players on a particular clip and these are the results.

MS Film & TV 4 min 06 secs

Winfdows Media Player 4 min 06 secs

VLC: 14 min 50 sec.

Am open to any and all suggestions

What are the properties of the original clips before you trim to apply Saved Trimmed Video.
Are you able to provide a sample of the original video files.?

The original video was captured by OBS and the trimmed segments were rendered without changing the settings of 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps. VS seems to be unable to capture as described in my post "Capture Difficulties. Post by Eckhard » Wed Feb 02, 2022 4:00 pm "

What are the properties of the original clips before you trim to apply Saved Trimmed Video.
Are you able to provide a sample of the original video files.?

refer to the preceding post for some clip info.

The clips with the errors are in the GB size range so impossible to share. Please let me know if I am in error here.
