How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
Hello,
I have just bought PSP 2022 Ultimate (with V.S. 2021 Ultimate bundled), and after having downloaded all the files, I get a very small installation program for PSP.
I suppose that launching this setup will download the entire installation file, then after the download is complete, the installation will start.
I would like to get this full installation file just prior the installation starts : therefore I will not have to download the full file in case I have to install it again.
How to get it ?
Same question applies for VideoStudio where I have got a small setup file.
Thank you,

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
If you look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel you should see \Corel PaintShop Pro 2022 Setup Files. That contains everything you are after, despite it being a bit strange that it is in the (x86) folder yet is a 64 bit program. The equivalent Video Studio folder is called just Corel VideoStudio 2021 and it contains a subfolder "Setup".
You can, of course, make a copy of it and save that elsewhere if you want. That's because if you use Uninstall for PSP or VS, that x86 folder is also removed.

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
Ken,
I have finished to download the full PSP2022 big setup file, and there is NO "Corel PaintShop Pro 2022 Setup Files" in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel directory, nor in the C:\Program Files\Corel directory, nor in the Download directory !
Where could this file be located ???
the problem is that if i continue the installation, I am sure that the setup file will be deleted at the end of the installation process ...

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
That is very strange as the process of putting those folders in the Program Files (x86) folder is completely automatic. It's not mentioned as far as I can recall in the setup process but just happens without any intervention by you. I can't think of where else they might have gone. The only other place you might find something is likely to be in AppData which would be in C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\Temp though I have to add I have never looked for it there as I knew the original files were all in the x86 folder.
Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion.

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
I have started a "Corel" search on the entire C:\ disk, and there is no file containing "2022" !
So I am about to continue the PSP 2022 process, and I will not get this bloody setup file ... I am fedup by this approach that prevent to download the complete installation file !....

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
Is there a "<Drive>\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2022\Setup" folder?
I have a setup.exe in there, and the next Setup folder below that has, among others, PSPPro.msi and PSPPro64.msi, so I assume both versions are included there.

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
After installation the setup files will be in this location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2022\Setup
If you're using the Web Installer which downloads the data first before installing it should download a .zip file into the same directory as the web installer that downloaded it. Which it then unzips into a temp location to actually run the installer.

Yes : look at the attached screen captureIs there a "<Drive>\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2022\Setup" folder?
Can I re-create this .ZIP file simply by zipping this <Drive>\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2022\Setup" folder? If you're using the Web Installer which downloads the data first before installing it should download a .zip file into the same directory as the web installer that downloaded it.

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
I don't know if you can or not. I assume you can since that installer needs to be able to fix your install. But that is an assumption. The only way to test would be to zip it up and either move it to another computer to try it, or uninstall PSP and re-install from that zip you made.
But if you do either of those you can just use the web installer to download the official zip install and save that.

Re: How to get the full installation file (PSP 2022)
Good afternoon. I myself bought the Paint Shop Pro / Video Studio Ultimate Combo about 1 month ago and received an e-mail stating the download link expires on May 20th. If I download the installer now for PSP/VS, is there a way I can get it to just download the setup files (i.e. create a layout) to a custom directory without actually doing an installation?
I currently am running on an old Windows 7 system and have just put together a new system that will have Windows 10 Pro installed shortly. However, I would like to have all the installation files saved to a USB drive or burned to a DVD disc and install the program to the new system that way.
Thank you.

Hi,
I had the same issue, and I have given the complete solution on this topic:
http://www.paintshoppro.fr/viewtopic.php?t=2814
I also recommend you to move ALL the resources from ALL the previous versions to a unique directory: it will be much much easier to save the resources, and you will no longer have to reinstall the plugins or any other resources (current version or previous versions) when you upgrade. See this post that gives the complete and detailed procedure: http://www.paintshoppro.fr/viewtopic.php?t=2824
Do not hesitate to ask Zen-Luck in case of question: he is the King of PSP and a very nice guy !
Hope this will help you,
