Video Analysis Required banner during transitions between video clips

Using Video Studio Ultimate 2021 with Windows 11. I run the Mercalli Pro image stabilizer in multiple video clips (.MOV from a Canon 60D). At this point everything is fine. Video clips are stabilized as expected.
However, after I add transitions between video clips, the "Video Analysis Required" banner appears during the transition between video clips. NOT during the video clips. Only during the transitions.
I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening.
This issue does not occur in Video Studio Ultimate 2020.

I'm not absolutely certain as I am not a Mercalli expert. But you would realize that a transition covers part of the end of one video and the beginning part of the following video. So Mercalli would be seeing these covered parts as a new form of video and thus requiring analysis. I suspect the idea is to insert the transitions before you use Mercalli the first time. That way, hopefully only one analysis would be required.

The problem occurs whether I insert the transitions before or after using Mercelli. The problem doesn't occur with Video Studio 2020. I've been using VideoStudio for years and have always followed these same steps and have never had this problem until version 2021.

I ran tests and could not replicate, I will test again today.
Have you applied the Mercalli hotfix.
Julie appears to have fixed by using the hotfix and resetting her project properties to match the videos properties, although we had no details of the properties.

Thank you Trevor. The hotfix resolved the issue. Unlike Julie, I didn't need to reset project properties.

You probably can't answer this question but I'm curious as to why Corel has never issued a fix to this issue. How was I or anyone else supposed to know that there was bug in Mercalli 5.0516.1?
When I checked for updates from within VS 2021 I got the message that the software was up to date with regards to patches and updates. I also went to Corel's support webpage and there were no updates available. I filed a trouble ticket with Corel Support. Let's see how long it takes them to respond to me or whether they present this same solution.

After reporting the issue to our Corel development team they did provided a fix which we made available through the forums.
The timing may well have been after the last Service Pack provided for 2021 as the Hotfix shows in September
Even so Corel should have provided the hot fix on their Knowledge Base, I have not looked there, updates are now provided through the program as automatic service packs. Help - Check for Updates

I just clicked on HELP > "Check for Updates" It still says "No Updates Available" . It said the same thing before I applied the hot fix. I searched in their Knowledge Base and couldn't find anything about bug fixes for Mercalli 5.0. I went to their "Download Patches and Updates" page then tried to select the appropriate videostudio version, the only choices are versions X10 and earlier. That's odd! Why isn't there a choice in the pull-down menu for later versions of VideoStudio?

At any rate the problem seems resolved since applying the hot fix. Thank you for your help. I wish Corel Support was as responsive and quick to resolve issues as this forum is. Corel also needs to be faster about issuing patches and updates to fix issues like this. Based on what I see in this forum, this Mercalli issue has been a problem for about a year.

With VS2018, Corel stopped making patches and updates available via download. Updates are only available from within the program, whilst patches appear to be only given out to those who interact with Corel support.
