PSP2020 Went Crazy
PSP2020 went crazy when I was trying to make a panorama from 4 photos.
See attachment. I could see no way to get back to the normal screen.
Fortunately, when I opened it just now a few days after the episode it has almost returned to normal without me doing anything.
Except for the "Manage" tab at the top centre of the screen. How do I get that back please?
And also the Layers tab is still missing. How do I get that back please?
And lastly, have you made any improvement to the ability to create panoramas by stitching several photos together to be done automatically?
The 2018 video comments are scathing about how behind the times Corel are and list several other programs that do it automatically.

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
Best way is to do this is a reset of the settings. To do this hold shift down and then double click the Paintshop pro icon on the desktop.

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
Mmmmm! Did that but that sent it back to the attachment page I showed above ie the worst case scenario - no tools down the LH side and still no "Manage" tab at the top centre!
The "Edit" tab is still there at the top centre but clicking on it does nothing at all.
Yes, worse than before!

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
The program has several workspaces, by default after installation shows Photography, that is the one you are viewing
You need to switch to the Complete workspace
Select the Welcome screen, the small house icon on the top of the panel.
To the right click Workspaces click the Complete option even if a little greyed out
The Welcome screen will refresh
Now select the Edit tab at the top.
You should now see the full Complete workspace.
Now go to File – Preferences – General Program Preferences to set your options
I choose Tabs – Set Edit as Default
Also Manage is selected.
Otherwise from Photography – right click the empty space for Workspaces, choose Complete, then Edit Tab

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
PSP has never had a tool to make panoramas automatically. There are various programs that can do this (search the internet).

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
Trevor,
Thanks for your advice but I am completely lost.
You say, "Select the Welcome screen, the small house icon on the top of the panel. - Nothing happens! The small house icon stays a small house icon.
To the right click Workspaces click the Complete option even if a little greyed out. - Can't get to this if the above doesn't work.
The Welcome screen will refresh - Ditto.
Now select the Edit tab at the top."

Re: PSP2020 Went Crazy
There are several ways made available by PSP to get to the Complete Workspace. The most common one is to go through the Welcome Screen. You can also do it from the Edit screen which is where your screenshot showed you are.
You can also from the edit screen just go File -> Workspace -> Complete. You can also just right-click the background area and a context menu will show up with "Workspace" as an option. HOver over this, you'll get a window with "Complete" showing and you can select that.

I had to first click on the Edit tab at the top centre of the page then the full list of options appeared at the top of the screen so I then clicked on File and followed your instructions and got back to my normal screen.
