PSP 2021 - tutorial
I had been a user of Ulead's PhotoImpact for many years & when I bought my Win10 computer, I was not able to get it to work, so I purchased PSP2021. I feel at a loss because it is nothing like what I was used to in the past, so I am relying on tutorials to help me. I wondered if someone could recommend one for what I am attempting to do. First off, I cannot figure out how to put 2 different pictures on the same canvas together. And what I want to learn to do is take a picture of my baby sister that passed away last year, give it a transparent look (which I know how to do) and insert her in between a picture of me & my other sister since it was our first Christmas without her. Can someone please suggest a tutorial for me to do that since I used to be able to with PhotoImpact quite easily by making one picture transparent & after placing on the original photo, selecting to arrange behind/in back to get that look. Thank you, Donna

Re: PSP 2021 - tutorial
You should download the manual. What you're trying to do requires learning about PSP's layer capabilities including moving layers and placing one above or below the other, selection tools to be able to select the baby from the background, and keeping the area around the baby transparent. If you're going to be using PSP you are better off getting to know its tools rather than just learning one tutorial do achieve one goal. This is sort of the "teach a person to fish" suggestion, rather than giving them a fish every time they need a meal.

This is exactly what I was looking for Kathy. Thank you VERY VERY much for showing me this video. I can't wait to get home from work so I can complete my surprise for my other sister to show her. (((hugs))) 'Donna'
