Recording in HD comes out pink monochrome

I am recording videos to upload to YouTube using videostudio ultimate 2021. When I capture video using the formate MPEG2 HD 1280 x 720 using my laptop camera or my logitech webcam it comes out all in pink. I can record fine in "DVD" format. My laptop is a Ryzen 7 5700u with 16GB ram. Any ideas why I can't record in HD mode?

So you are using the "MultiCam Capture Lite" program to record the webcam? Is that correct? Have you tried any different ways to stream the webcam to disc?

First, are you able to capture 720p footage successfully using Logitech software? Depending on your webcam model, Logitech software uses Quick Capture feature for taking photos and videos. I would try this first. Check results in your preferred media player, if good then import saved files into VSP 2021 for additional edits.
