Missing only Part of exif data
specifically the shutter speed. This data is present in image properties but not in PSP 2022 (Win 11) This happens with new downloads from camera as well as images from pre PSP2022 (PSP7 & 9) Other exif data shows - just not shutter speed. Thoughts? Jim B

Re: Missing only Part of exif data
I am probably missing something from your message but could you confirm how you are looking for the exif data in PSP? I check using Image information (or a script) and it is showing shutter speed for me in in PSP 2021

Also what camera are you using? And does it show exposure time?

Re: Missing only Part of exif data
Nikon D500 shows all data including shutter speed. I see Image Info in PSP but the shutter speed has only three dashes. I should also note that I am on Windows 11 which was not included in sign up options here.

Re: Missing only Part of exif data
Could you post an example junk image? I've tried downloading several sample images for Nikon D500 from several sites and they all show only Exposure time in both Windows Properties and PSP. Nothing I've found online shows shutter speed from a Nikon D500 NEF or jpg file only Exposure Time. Which matches what I found with someone else mentioning the same thing with a different Nikon camera.

Re: Missing only Part of exif data
Basically what @Jean-Luc is saying is that the Exposure Time is the amount of time that light is allowed to enter the camera. The amount of time that the shutter is open is what determines that, so whatever exposure time is shown in the EXIF is the time that the shutter was open, i.e. Shutter Speed.
Of course, the term Exposure (without the modifier Time) is a different animal altogether, being a combination of the several factors that determine the final look or the image, such as the ISO setting and the Aperture setting. But that's not relevant to the original question.
As to why the EXIF for this camera only shows Exposure Time without also putting that figure in the Shutter Speed field I have no idea. As @ConalO's post indicates, with some images - and some cameras I guess - that time is shown in both fields.

Re: Missing only Part of exif data
Just to clarify - the camera (Nikon D500) does show the shutter speed. But PSP (2022) does not show the shutter speed in the Image Info area. It shows other relevant data i.e. ISO, aperture, focal length. etc. but not the shutter speed. (the column is there and labeled as such but displays --- ) That, of course does not have any bearing on the image quality or any actions available in PSP. It is more of an irritant than anything else. I just hoped someone here would be able to suggest a "fix" for this anomaly but am beginning to think I'm just going to have to take it as it is. I thank you all for your attention .
