Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
I can't imagine an iPhone not already producing photos which are large enough for a DVD. In fact, I would have thought you might need to even reduce them a little. What is the model of the phone? What size is it set to take photos in? What are the actual sizes of the photos you have? And what size do you want them to be?

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
You probably need a cable to connect the phone to your computer and then download the images to a folder on your desktop.

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
The images are from various i phones 6,7,8 and 12.They are usually downloaded from email attachments or can be transferred via cable directly to my PC hard drive. Then they are imported from PSPRo 2021 into a Video Studio 2020 project where they take up a small proportion of the screen. The size the photos are taken in is not consistent, what I want is to be able to see detail in the photos without pixelation and to take up much more , say up half the video screen if that is possible. Below is a screen shot to show the proportions I have to deal with. I thought I could enlarge the image in PSPRo without much loss of quality.

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
First I would recommend not emailing it to yourself. Just eliminate that as a potential inadvertant resizing. Either upload to a cloud storage, or transfer over wire direct to your PC. Then open the image in PSP and tell us what its dimensions are.
As I'm not at all familiar with Video Studio or how it works with PSP I can't offer anything there.

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
I am not emailing anything to myself. Getting emailed images from friends and family into my PC hard drive is not a problem. An example of an image I want to enlarge has the following dimensions
219xx595 Pixels 2.2 x 6.2 in 96000 pixels per in
It was a 100% background jpg when in the PSPRo workspace

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
Just mentioning a typo in the above. That's actually 96 PPI, not 96000 PPI. I think you're missing a decimal point.
That said, it's definitely not the original image as originally taken by any iPhone or smartphone because the resolution is simply way lower than any phone camera setting that I am aware of. It almost seems like a screen shot from a computer screen, certainly not an original image taken by a phone camera. And an image that size can't be enlarge much in any program without showing pixellation I'm afraid.

Re: Enlarge images taken with iphone
Yeah that is tiny. For comparison an image from an iPhone 6 (one of the models you list above) is 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 in size. Now you don't need a giant image to fill the screen on a DVD as DVD video is often just 720x480. Technically at 595px high the image should be as tall as the full video not as tiny as it is.
