Re: You will master Custom motion if..
Could be Zaphodikus, I think it's very clever and could be done in VS X7 and up.
I will try when time permits.

Re: You will master Custom motion if..
A very very simple attempt at the problem, a bit messy, but tweakable.

Re: You will master Custom motion if..
Well done, you just need to rearrange the tracks to keep the overall wavy look.

Re: You will master Custom motion if..
Good to know I'm making progress.
It's 200 lines of python and ffmpeg.exe - hence the blurry thing going on. Importing 200 jpegs into video studio is a bit too time consuming still, so ffmpeg saves time. I'll push it up to github once I can get the wavy thing to look nicer. Yes. At my age, the math skills are not that great, it's using a cosine function to make the wave "ease-in" and "ease-out", but it's not doing it in the desired order yet. The hardest part is stopping the 4 squares from dropping off of the edge of the image before my brain explodes with the concentration. i'll bet you could do it better in CSS.... actually that gives me an idea on a way to clean up the code.
Surprised more animations of this kind don't exist in code someplace.

It's not an awesome copy, still has glitches in the box colours but it was fun customizing and learning how to do this. Here is the process https://youtu.be/t1c6KwJwDiM

My quick attempt at this challenge using VS Customize Motion is available for viewing at https://youtu.be/MkFTeBsBOisasik1 wrote: you will recreate this VEVO bumper clip I saw few days ago. Just 4 tracks needed.
VS Customize Motion lacks the necessary fine grain control of size, and X & Y coordinates to easily do a 1st rate project.
Looking forward to seeing yours.asik1 wrote: I will try when time permits.
