I recently purchased PaintShop Pro 2022 Ultimate but have yet to find a video or any information on the problem that I am having. I cannot find any information on being able to access or view the tabs that I can see on Youtube videos for PhotoShop related to Facial Recognition.
I have attached a jpg showing a screen shot of what I am viewing. {The faces have been blurred on purpose for posting here.)
Any information helping me to find what is probably a simple solution to this quandary would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks in advance.
Jim

Re: Unable to find tabs related to Facial Recognition
I have a recollection that facial recognition was removed from PSP several versions ago. They still have a video tutorial but this uses version X5.
They also 'advertise' geotagging but again that has stopped working, probably for all versions (and been removed from PSP 2021 ->).
It is because of this, and the annoying pop-ups, that I have decided not to buy any more products from Corel. Despite that I like many of the features in PSP and will continue to use PSP2020 for many of my photo projects.

Re: Unable to find tabs related to Facial Recognition
WOW!!!! What a rip off! I just purchased PSP for those two reasons. (Equivalent of 8 months of Photoshop payments down the drain....)( I guess I will go back to using Photoshop along with Phototheca then rather than learning a new program...REALLY DISPPOINTING....
Thank you for your input on this topic!!!

Jim

Re: Unable to find tabs related to Facial Recognition
I consider it sharp practice to have the facial recognition tutorial immediately above a banner "See what's new in PaintShop Pro 2022!" without a disclaimer regarding a depreciated feature.
If you feel you have been missold PSP, raise a complaint with the help desk - they may offer a refund. They did offer me one for the removal of geotagging but I declined as I had discovered a workaround and wanted to keep the video editing suite I got with the bundled "upgrade" to PSP2020.
