Camera shake effect is not random

Post by zaphodikus »

as per screenie, I wanted to have some simulation of fake movement in a really short clip by having all 9 picture portraits in the zoom call move a bit, I applied the "camera shake" effect to get a small amount of movement in all 9 clips, but because the effect is identical on all the clips, they all move together like syncronised ballet dancers. Aside from just manually editing each clip effect, is there an easy way to get them to be really random? I want to do this a few times over, and the only way I can see how is to edit a few of them and "copy" the newly "edited" effect with shifted timings, over a few times to "random" portraits.

I'm not overthinking this am I?
