Where mirror? Attribute Panel? Where?

Post by Traskmif »

The 2021 pdf says mirror is on the attribute panel. But where is the attribute panel?

If it's the panel that shares with the library and options, then if I click the A/B icon (transitions) I don't see mirror.

The Mirror filter is located in the FX folder, open FX and select Camera Lens, then select Mirror, is that what you are looking for

Erm.... dunno what that is. It inserts a hot air balloon with a venetian blind effect and - oh! VS crashed out while I was writing this. Guess the balloon burst when the blinds opened. :D

What I'm looking for is to reverse a video clip left to right - like looking in a mirror.

No, imagine a room where a person walks in through a door on the right. Reversing the video he would already be in the room and back out of that door.

What I want is a mirror image where the person enters the room through the door on the left. He moves forward and at the same speed. It's just two clicks in VSDC which can also instantly mirror flip vertically as well as side to side.

Perhaps it's called something different in Visual Studio. Flip, reflect, invert, or something else.

Not quite sure just what you are after
The attached screen shot shows a video being placed on the overlay tracks 1 and 2
Repositioned adjacent to each other meeting in the middle
One of the videos, the right hand one has had the Flip filter applied
People can now be seen walking from the right and left to meet in the middle.

Sorry but videos are oversize for use as attachment so using a screen shot

Ah, that's it - thanks. Full path is... library panel - FX - Title Effects - Flip.

And the little orange star icon in the timeline leads to flip options horizontal or vertical.
