I am working on several projects and some are not rendering properly.
For example -
1) Inside the project an image is full screen but after rendering there are black bars on each side and the image is not full screen. This only happens in some of my projects and not all.
Attachment "project" is the image in the project
Attachment "rendered" is same image after rendering
2) In another inside the project I've added text in the "Title 1" bar and when viewing the project (pre-rendering) the text looks normal but after rendering the text is distorted in some and in others the text is a larger font.
Can anyone offer any suggestions to fix my rendering issues?
I have a Dell Latitude 7400 connected to dual monitors
64 bit
Windows 10 Pro
VideoStudio Pro 2021 - rendering issues

and welcome to the forums
There are 3 sizes to consider
The Project Properties frame size
The video frame size
And the final output / Share profile choice
Ideally these should be the same aspect ratio.
Video Studio’s projects default to using a 16:9 ratio frame size
From Settings Project Properties can see those settings
The video used on the timelines can be any ratio, if we use a different size say 4:3 then that will sit inside the 16:9 showing black borders left and right, this should not cause a problem
Of course we can place the text within the video as your second image
Oh just noticed your 2nd image showing the 4:3 clearly below the preview screen
I would think that if you now Share to a 16:9 video then the text will be stretched to fit 16:9 although the video is 4:3
I suspect that the Project Properties, the Video being used or the Share output choice are different and causing the re-size issue.
1 / So what are your Project Properties ( Settings Project Properties _ what do you see in the properties panel, copy and paste details here)
2 / What are the properties of the video files (right click a video on the timeline – Create an image of that panel, attach here)
3 / What do you choose when doing Share? ( ideally may be the same as Project Properties)

Re: VideoStudio Pro 2021 - rendering issues
As a test
First save the project as a copy, File Save As, give it a new name
Below the preview screen change the 4:3 to 16:9, black borders will be placed left and right
You may have to go F6 preferences – General tab Preview Window Background color – change that from black, the border you now see is part of the final video. As your first image, revert to black if you wish.
Text boxes
You may have to change the text size to fit over the video
When you Share use a 16:9 profile.
