How to select vector objects (rectangle,...)

Hello,

I use PSP since 2005 and now I have version 2022 but I cannot select the vector tools rectangle, circle and so on. These functions are deactivated in the toolbar. I found no reason for that. Does someone have an idea what's going on here?

Try resetting your workspace.

It seems so as if this was the solution. A lot of work because I have several toolbars but ok...
