hi everyone - long time user of Corel Video Studio here. I recently upgraded from 8X to Ultimate 2020.
1. In Edit mode, there used to be an icon to view the video in HD mode. Does anyone know where this button is now?
In the Help text it says: "If you have a high definition project (HD), you can enable HD Preview so that you can preview your project with a clearer, higher quality result. The speed depends on your system."
In 8X I could choose HD for any project. What qualifies as a HD project? Can I set HD preview for all projects?
2. Screen capture automatically generates a large .mov file. Is there a way to change the format?
3. Insert media file to timeline - How do I insert an image at the start of the video?

Drag a clip from the library to the beginning of the timeline, it will show over the first clip but when dropped will be placed before the first clip, all other clips on the top timeline will shift right.

MCCL now using 2 formats, by default Mjpeg creates a Mov, AVC records MP4 H.264 smaller file size. The earlier LSC was limited to WMV
MCCL go to Advanced tab for encode options.

make sure you are viewing / playing the timelines in project Playback mode
The word Project being highlighted to the left of play button
