Pinnacle Studio 25 crashes A LOT

I can't seem to find a forum for this, so I guess it has to go in the Video Studio forum, even though Pinnacle Studio (I thought) was supposed to be the higher-end of the two products.

I'm running PS25.0.2.276 and it crashes a lot. Like, a LOT. I've twice tonight had to "repair" it (WIndows 10) just to get it to load. Every time I import a LOG format video from one of my drones, the program crashes as soon as it starts to render. On a different computer, running PS25.0.1.xxx, it seems to render fine. Mind you, I haven't applied the LUT yet on that system, so I guess the chance still seems high that it will crash and reboot the computer there, too.

There are a lot of posts online about the frequency of crashes in PS24/25. The quality control is becoming a bit of an issue.

What's going on? I'm trying really hard to stick with Corel, but between the lack of support in AfterShot Pro 3 and the crashes in PS25, I'm really reaching my breaking point.

Well, as you already guessed, this forum doesn't look after Pinnacle. For that you will need to go to http://forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/default.aspx and register again.

I think it probably comes from the fact that Pinnacle used to be owned by Avid, and already had a well established community. So why reinvent it?
