Hi,
I am trying to create a motion menu that has a title a play button and just motion video in the background. No chapters or thumbnail videos. I have movie factiry 3.5.

With MF4 you can resize the thumbnail on the menu screen.
Doing what you want is tricky because you can't get full screen motion
and still have a title & play button as focused items.
But, in MF4 you can use Customize and select "No Frame".
Then resize the frame etc.
You can do that and still have chapters in the video but not in the menuing system.
