Apply Mercalli filter on multiple clips - batch processing

Post by 88lukas »

Hello,
I have some shaky video clips and would like to apply Mercalli filter in bulk for all clips.
This tutorial here helped for a single clip:
https://learn.corel.com/tutorials/remov ... -ultimate/

Is it possible to apply Mercalli filter to all clips in one go - batch processing?

Cheers Lukas

Lukas
And welcome to the forums
It is not possible to perform batch processing using Mercalli, one at a time I am afraid
At least I do not know of one

For your info, VS 2021 - there was a problem which caused Mercalli to use Analyse again, fortunately Corel have provided a fix, further info here

I suspect you may find the problem is at the proDAD end rather than Corel's. Corel just pays a licensing fee to proDAD for Mercalli. But from the proDAD perspective Mercalli is supposed to work on a clip by clip analysis basis, and that in turn would make it unsuitable for batch processing. I doubt that Corel would want to spend the time adjusting Mercalli to use batch processing, and I totally doubt whether proDAD would let them...

Also, I believe proDAD's Mercalli standalone product is the only one that does batch stabilization analysis.

That's correct rwernyei, The Standalone versions of Mercalli 4 & 5 can carry out Batch Processing, to be honest have not actually tried that feature, will sort some videos and see how well it works.
