Project files disappeared from Video Studio and computer

I have Corel Video Studio Pro X8. I've never really had a problem with creating or saving the videos I've made. It seems all of a sudden that my Projects which were created and saved and made into an MP4 movie have disappeared. I can't figure out what may have happened. On a few I did delete the original video clips and never had an issue before doing this, the project was still saved and put in my project list. I even uploaded a few projects to YouTube for my channel and they don't show up there either. Any idea of what may have happened? Might have to save to an external drive in the future. Thanks if you may know what this is all about.

Are you talking about the project files (they have the vsp extension) or the rendered video files (with extensions mp4 or such)?

Files don't just disappear without the user doing it whether on purpose or through error. Some more information on what you did is required.

I guess it must have been my error somehow but I don't remember. These were rendered MP4 videos listed in My Projects. I put some on Youtube and leave them unlisted as kind of a fishing journal. Even the one I remember loading on to Youtube is gone from that site. I watched it on my TV. Very strange indeed unless I did it unwittingly. It's a puzzle.

Perhaps you saved them to a removal drive that you've disconnected from your PC.

It's possible that YT has blocked it due to a copyright claim, generally related to music. If you check your YT Studio, you can see the status of all your uploaded videos.
