Hi guys,
Going through my backlog of holiday videos, I've discovered a strange behaviour when it comes to videos shot with my mobile phone, which i'm then importing into VS2021 on Win10.
Although the videos were shot in 1920x1280 (and recognized by Windows as such, in file properties), when i import them into VS it picks them up as 1280x960 (and suggests to change the project settings accordingly).
If i render them at 1280x960, the result is fine (despite the resolution). If i force the rendering to 1960x1280, the output is jittery.
Thanks in advance for your help

Many smartphone cameras use techniques like variable frame rates that VS has difficulty dealing with. Suggest that you use a video converter, e.g. HandBrake, to convert them into a standard video format that VS can ingest.lostri wrote: I've discovered a strange behaviour when it comes to videos shot with my mobile phone, which i'm then importing into VS2021 on Win10.
