Synchronisation of tracks when inserting into the video track

Hello.

When I insert new video files into a project I would like the current video files to be coupled or sychronized with the files on the voice track and the music track.
The situation now is that only the video files move on the timeline when inserting a new video file which makes that music and voice are at a different position at the timeline than the corresponding video files, which is a small disaster.

I know it must be somewhere in the manual but I cannot find how to keep the existing video files to be synchronized with their music and voice files on the respective tracks.

Maybe someone can tell me.

Turn on ripple editing.

To give you a further hint, you turn ripple editing on by clicking on the small chain link icon the red arrow in my image is pointing at. You click on the same icon in the various tracks of the timeline you want on or off.
