VideoStudio Ultimate 2021 does not launch after installation

I see the splash screen, the window opens briefly and then disappears leaving the splash screen for a couple of minutes and then the splash screen disappears.

I have reinstalled the product three times with no success rebooting the system after each installation.

I am on an HP desktop with an Core i5 11th gen processor with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SDD with 768GB free. I have PaintShop Pro 2021 installed on this system.

I saw the posting for the same issue with the 2020 version and have tried those solutions but have obviously had no success, hence this post.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am having the same issues -- Still trying a lot of ways to fix this. I think the issue is VideoStudio 2021 is faulty

This is what worked for me (I'm trying to remember the exact steps from memory, so please forgive me).
I started the installation process, and entered my serial number.
I clicked DOWNLOAD only, and did not install the program. I installed manually later.
I went to the downloaded directory and started the install. I chose a CUSTOM install.
I clicked on everything EXCEPT the bonus features.
The program installed. I was able to start the program after installation. I exited the program.
Going back to the install program location, I went to the "64bit" folder. In that folder is a directory called "BonusFeature". I went to that folder and installed the bonus feature (setup_Bonus.exe). Things installed and the main program worked after that.

This worked for me. I'm not sure if it would work for everyone else.
