Hello. I use the latest version of Video Studio at a HP Elitedesk 800G3 computer (Intel Core i7-6700CPU@3.40 GHz).
Almost every time I use the program for a couple of hours while I close and open the program a number of times if necessary two things happen:
a. The program does not launch at the first time but only after two or three or more attempts.
b. The program freezes while I am working with it, and after the freezing it shuts down automatically. When I open it after that there's a dialogue window which asks me if the latest session has to be recovered. The recovery however is never complete, The two latest changes or additions are not in the recovery.
Does anyone recognizes this? What could be the cause and how can I solve these two problems?
Thanks for your time!

I do have an issue where the program fails to start, hangs with the splash screen showing for a long time, eventually that closes, a second attempt to start usually works ok.
Quite random but enough to be annoying.

from the description I would suspect corrupt files within your project, or files that Video Studio does not like.
The recovery is saving the project every 10 minutes so the recovery VSP could be upto 10 minutes old, so it is possible that edits you performed 9 minutes ago do not show when recovered.
You can set the Auto Save Interval to 1 minute if you wish, but then if it is something you have done caused the crash that will be saved so you could be recovering a corrupt vsp?
(F6) Settings – Preferences – General Tab
I generally try to remember to hit CTRL + S to save the project on a regular basis, especially when things start going wrong.

Re: Video Studio launch problem and crash problem
Thanks Lata. Ctrl+S is a good option. I don't think the cause is corrupt files. After the crash I re-use the same files and everthing goes wel then.
