I have seen the VS Ultimate 2021 Black Friday deal at a great price in the UK (£21.99).
Question is; Does anyone think its worth upgrading to VS2021 when I currently use VS Ultimate 2020- Are there many/any new features to make it worthwhile ?

You may be best in giving the trial a run.
I found 2021 to be more stable than earlier versions although not all will agree with that comment.
Of late there have been quite a few reports of installation and run issues.

Not sure if that is the program or user pc.
I did download the latest installation files with no issues in installing VS 2021

For £22 it is not gonna break the bank

I have just decided to purchase the VS2021 special price.

I can not understand why the Upgrade is $69 and the full version is $37 :?:

If you are around Ken, any ideas? Will I still be able to use my VS2018?

Yes, but some of the older filters might be replaced by newer versions, e.g. Mercalli.

Thanks tletter
Do you mean VS2021 will replace the filters in VS2018? Does that mean that videos I'm working on at the moment may be affected?

What I've seen is that the Mercalli 4 filter in VS2018 appears to be unchanged, however, if you open the Mercalli 4 filter in VS2018, it's actually Mercalli 5 from VS2021. This may require you to have to run the Mercalli reanalyze. Strangely, if you have used the Mercalli 2 filter from an earlier version of VS, that filter is unchanged and doesn't require reanalysis.

Thanks tletter for you reply. My order is in, but will wait until I have finished the project I am working on before installing 2021.
