I wonder if there is a good (ex AI support) way for upscale videos without loosing quality.
I know that Adobe has some effects to do so. Is there any add on reasonably priced ı can buy and use?

Don't understand what your asking. What do you mean by "upscale videos"?

Yes, I initially thought he was talking about simply increasing the size of the frame. But now I suspect he might be talking about improving the quality by going, say, from standard to high definition... I've always said that you can't expect to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. But I will be most interested to hear suggestions that might work, if this is indeed what he *is* talking about...

Yes you are right. Let me give you an example from Adobe prospect.Ken Berry wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 4:27 am Yes, I initially thought he was talking about simply increasing the size of the frame. As far as I can see, both those programs are stand-alone, though their results do indeed look impressive. Not cheap, though. But I would think that you could use them to enhance your video and then use the enhanced video in VS or any other NLE such as Adobe Premiere...

Hi,
You can use the "superscale" function in the free version of DaVinci Resolve 15 to upscale video with good results. After version 15 calculations are done using the neural engine (AI) and requires the Studio version which must be paid for. You can output the upscaled video in Cineform format and then import it into Videostudio for editing and final rendering. Version 15 is downloadable on the Blackmagic site.

Ah! Interesting. I hadn't noticed this in Resolve 15. I always update as the new free versions emerge, and just last week updated to 17.4... But I probably still have the installation file for 15 somewhere... Certainly worth trying once you have become sort of familiar with Resolve...

I wish Corel had something like this. But this is too much asking
I wish at least the video exports with Cuda become in an acceptable quality.
