Problems with capture quality from DV - shows lines

I am fairly new to Ulead so please forgive my ignorance. I have used a 1394 cable to capture the video from a JVC digital camcorder however when I look at the quality it shows horozontal lines when the camera is moved from one object to the other and then once steady it goes into focus again. I have lookd at all the setting s and preferences and can not seem to rectify this.

Can anyone help?

sorry I didn't get it. Do you mean that I have selected the order wrong? I couldn't see the posting you directed me to.

If you capture via firewire the convention is Lower Field First (or Field Order A, in VS7). Look in Project Properties, until you find Field Order. Make sure it is Lower rather than Upper, or Frame Based.
