I am unable to create a new topic in the PSP forum

Every time I try to create a new topic it boots me to the login page. Not sure exactly why because I can apparently create a new topic in here but not in the PSP forum page.
My questions are with PSP 2020 they are:
1. How do I make a white area transparent in an imported black and white jpg image?
2. Is there an automatic way of outlining an image? I am trying to do this to solid black image and then save and import the outline into the Cricut Design Space.

Maybe after posting this here I will be able to post in the PSP forum......

Welcome to the forum. If you had read the words which accompanied your registration, you would have realized that your first two posts here need authorization by a Moderator (me!) before they will appear to anyone, including you. I did read that but when I tried creating a post the first time it would just boot me to the login screen whenever I clicked "New Topic" so I could not even create a new post for approval.
Oddly enough a little bit after creating this post I attempted creating a new post in the PSP forum and it worked just fine.
