Paint Shop Pro 2019 I cannot crop
I am writing to share my disappointment with my PSP 2019 product. I have been using it for more than a year to crop and adjust photos I download off my camera. Now, when I open an image and go to Image in the menu bar the "Crop to selection" is greyed out. If I go to Selection in the menu bar I can select the whole image, but cannot use a pointer to adjust the size of the selection.

When you use the Selection Tool, be sure the Mode is set to Replace or Add:

Just curious, why do you prefer to crop to selection rather than using the crop tool?
Also to edit the size of a selection, you need to go into edit selection mode and use the pick tool to resize it.

And just curious from me, when you crop to selection rather than using the Crop tool, is there any advantage OR disadvantage to either in terms of things like accuracy of the crop, degradation of the image, or whatever?LeviFiction wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 1:00 pm Just curious, why do you prefer to crop to selection rather than using the crop tool?

Just a thought, maybe they are selecting an object or person and using the 'crop to selection' to "cut out" the object?
