PSP & Windows 11 Questions Please

Post by Bonjovicrzy »

Hey everyone
I want to know 2 things please, my members on my small tagging forum that I help with they are asking questions on PSP and Windows 11, and I am not sure how to answer them can anyone help with these two questions I told them to wait to upgrade till I learn more about it

In the Windows forums it is confusing some say older programs and plugins will not work at all, some say maybe they will work & some says they will work

I am not sure if what is true, that is why I am asking here

1:If They Upgrade to Windows 11 will the older PSP versions work ? Which versions of PSP is working with 11 so far ???
2: Will the old 32 bit plugins work in Windows 11 and PSP 32 bit screen ???

I also want to know of the plugins since I am upgrading to a new computer and Windows 11 this upcoming new year I have PSP 2022 now

Thank you for any info

Hi

I'm glad to inform you the latest PaintShop Pro 2022 can support Windows 11 system officially. You can find this info through our tech spec page now. https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/product ... tech-specs
Basically, both PSP2020 and PSP2021 are able to work with Windows 11 system correctly since Corel has completed a quick compatibility testing for them. However, we won't 100% guarantee that and may not spend the effort to resolve any related issues. 8)

Regarding the 32-bit Plugin support, basically, once it can work with PSP and Windows 10 system, and should be able to work with PSP and Windows 11 environment continually. But many 32-bit version of Plugin is very old so it won't surprise me in case it cannot work with Windows 11 system.

Hope my above answer can help.

Cheers
