VideoStudio 2021 Crashes

Sometimes when I open up VideoStudio Pro 2021 it crashes. I just bought this yesterday. I loved the older Corel products and have never had a problem with them until now. In Event view I see a lot of errors saying Zune at the time stamp it crashed. I repaired the program. It still crashed sometimes.

Unfortunately, you don't give us much to go on. What format is the video you are using? Is any of it 4K? That can be quite demanding and normally you would need to use SmartProxy when editing it -- that's where VS makes a copy ("proxy") of the original video but in a lower quality format which is easy to edit. And when you are satisfied, the edits are then applied to the original video. Unfortunately, though, you don't give us any details about your computer, so it is impossible to say whether this might be a factor in your problem.

Did any of it actually come from a Zune source? Are you doing the same thing each time VS crashes? If so, what? What Project Properties are you using?

Zune was discontinued 9 years ago, do you still have Zune on your PC, seems strange that your error messages are referring to Zune

It crashes upon startup. Sometimes it will not even show the Welcome box.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

It doesn't do it all the time just sometimes. When loads it encodes fine just sometimes crashed when trying to start the program.

It's not doing it now. I used it to edit a 640 x 480 video I did and it changed the size. I also started a new project when I did that. Whatever was causing it to crash on start up stopped when I did that.
