I often find myself in need of removing lots of backgrounds, so removing them as quick as possible but with a reasonable edge to them.
I was wondering what the quickest method, tips solutions or scripts?
I often use a combination of magic wand tools and background eraser etc (Every tool in that menu.)
But often find they leave a rough edge and having to modify the selection and then smooth and then contract it a couple of pixels to get a reasonable edge.
This is very long winded having to go through this process, so the quickest way I have found now is:
Use remove.bg website (free option) as it is super quick.
However the free option is a downscaled image.
So:
- I then take the edited photo into paintshop resize it back to the original size.
- Use the magic wand with opacity match mode (150) and click the transparent sections.
- Paste the original over the top of the edited version.
- Push Delete on keyboard (removes background on original photo)
- then merge two layers (In case there is any deformed edges in the resizing).
Any tips or Suggestions on speedy background removal would be much appreciated!
