Shortcut Issues PSP 2022 Update

Post by Scribzy »

Hi there,

My shortcut keys have stopped working since psp 2022 update.
Eg: Ctrl + Z, Ctrl + D, Shift + S .... etc

I think that the shortcut keys were also labelled next to each item in the menu's which also appears to have disappeared.
(Eg: Shift + S next to resize in the image menu )

There is a few shortcut keys that do work such as Ctrl + P , Shift + A etc but these appear to be interface related rathe than object manipulation shortcuts.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as going through a menu to press undo is very long winded

I tried closing and closing background process and reopening but still no joy.

Should I reinstall and deny the patch?

In keyboard Map, all the category "edit" keys are nulled. (I have never edited them before)

It seems you will need an uninstall and reinstall.
Do the uninstall with Windows uninstaller. After uninstall, shut down the PC, launch again, and reinstall.

Help / Keyboard map seems to be incomplete. For example, Ctrl+V is not listed but is assigned.

You may assign the shortcuts manually:

I use PSP2019 and, unless they changed it (or if I customized it and don't remember) there is an Undo and Redo button on the standard toolbar.

I don't think there was either before I reinstalled psp (I was having to go to "Edit>Undo")

but since reinstalling there is one on a toolbar that I have not closed:

They exist for many previous versions.
