Cannot play video from IMGP7358.MOV file of Pentax K-3 camera

Hi. Dear friends.
The official Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2020 (Corel VideoStudio 23.3.0.646 64bit Ultimate) cannot play video from the IMGP7358.MOV file of the Pentax K-3 camera.
There is sound. Tell me what to do? The file cannot be downloaded (a message is displayed - ERROR.Invalid file extension IMGP7358.MOV) .

I solved the problem: I set NTSC in Settings-Preferens-General (instead of PAL).

Both Robert and I are in PALand.
You should also better use PAL as this video is 25fps.

You don't say what country you are in (your personal profile) and that directly affects the playback system and quality gained when using CVS. For example, Europe (except Russia and France), South Africa and countries in the mediteranean and some of SE Asia inc Australia use the PAL standard for image display. The USA, Canada and the americas, and Japan all use NTSC. NTSC was the original colour standard for TV, and cynics call it "not twice the same colour" because it had colour variation/stability problems. The PAL system was evolved in Germany to correct that, and provide a better image resolution. The stability of the image (rolling vertically, or not) was directly impacted by the power line frequency (25 or30hz) the display was drawing energy from, and altho the times have moved on the display standards for multiple source material (broadcast TV, the internet, or computer display) are still in use. So which one in use for your country is important. When installing CVS, the very first default of the installer is NTSC. If that is not your country, change to PAL. Leaving it "as is" because you know no better is defaulting your video system to a display format that's used in the USA.

You can change the TV display system in preferences and you have done that - with a successful result with the imported camera clips as posted.

A mov format is like many others a container for the specifics needed to play the clip. Those specifics do vary between manufacturers, and not all are supported by video software. Your results suggests that the imagery recorded by your camera is somehow set to NTSC, quite possibly the frame rate. If an investigation doesn't allow change to the 25fps format used by a PAL configured CVS, and the camera manufacturer won't or cannot help, then maybe you should pass the camera imagery thru the handbrake program (free) and simply change the frame rate to 25fps in the result.

I accidentally shot it in FHD (1920x1080) resolution and saw that it does not play video at any settings.
But there is sound. In the past, the file had a HD resolution (1280x720) and everything was reproduced there when set to NTSC.

Installed the trial version of Corel VS 2021.
EVERYTHING WORKS!!!
All MOV files are playable without any problem!
