color correction change over time
I'm new to Video Studio Ultimate 2020, transitioning from ProShow Gold and have a question about editing color/contrast, etc of images. I can easily so how to change these parameters of an image, but what I would like to do is have a color/contrast that changes during the time the image is being displayed. i.e.....start the image with high exposure/low contrast and have it gradually change to low exposure/high contrast. Is there a way to do this in VSU 2020? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select a clip in the main timeline, and apply the brightness and contrast filter to the clip (Fx in the library tool bar, click n drag the filter onto the clip).
Choose the options panel icon (RH bottom of the library space), select the filter and click on customise the filter. You can apply several filters to the one clip - just make sure that the "replace last filter" box is unticked, and if needed you can customise each one individually.
When the filter panel opens, there are default keyframes at the start and end of the clip time strip. Insert extra keyframes in the time strip at the place(s) where you want changes in colour and brightness to occur (drag the time marker to the time location and click the + sign). Can be done as many times as is convenient.
At each keyframe, use the brightness, contrast and gamma controls to adjust the image (the RH pane shows results of control changes) to the levels you want at that point. When the result is played, the software interpolates (smoothly changes) between the levels specified at the start and next keyframes for the section.
Experiment to suit.
