I am using Video Studio 2021 Ultimate. I used a YouTube to mp3 conversion program to strip the audio from the video. Now having problem with bringing that MP3 audio file into a project.
Get an error message: File format mismatch, with this number at bottom of error message : [16803:1:2]
Appreciate any suggestions you can give me. TY!

Re: Unable to use an MP3 file in Video Studio
Welcome to the forums!
We have no idea what those error message numbers mean. We are not Corel employees but users like you who volunteer our time to try to help other users.
Video Studio has for a long time had problems with some types of mp3 audio, particularly the type produced using the LAME mp3 codec. All I can suggest is that you use a conversion product (like the freeware audio editor Audacity) to convert the mp3 to standard audio .wav format, then insert that in VS instead.
As a possible alternative if you still have access to the YouTube video and your ripping program allows it, strip the audio from the video but use .wav format.
