PSP 2021/2022

Post by pocah »

I used PSP from about 2018 and am currently using 2020. The issue I have, though, is that it is unusable because it is so slow. This sloth like behaviour is only with PSP. Whith other software its all nice and quick. Assuming these are "problems" with 2020, is 2022 better?

I have never had an issue with 2020 being slower than any other software on my computer. What you'll find is this is very individual and no user here knows exactly why. Your best bet for determining if 2022 works well on your computer is to download the trial.

I will say this, Corel used a new compiler on 2022 to hopefully make it more efficient but that's no guarantee that I'll be any better for you.

Right thatsd an easy one firstly I would suggest running a custom ccleaner as this will get rid of all temp files on pc which does help speed things up. Secondly I would suggest looking at your processor and drivers. PSP2022 is fast on my computer to load up. Though it does depend on your processor. Also another thing that might slow it down is your antivirus. I use Mcafee which does not.
