Hello,
I have tried to download videos from my pc to videostudio ultimate 2019 but it is all jerky. It is the first time I have filmed it on my dji pocket 2. I usually use a SLR with no problem. I have done everything I usually do, the only difference is the device I filmed on.
Any ideas.
Thank you.
C.S.
jerky playback.

Re: jerky playback.
First off, can you right click one of the DJI video clips in the VS timeline, and copy all its Properties here please, or take a screenshot of the Properties box and upload it here as an Attachment. If I remember correct, the DJIs usually use a high frame rate, and often use a codec which causes problems for VS. In those other cases, we have advised people to convert their original video (I assume in this case a form of mp4) to mp4 again but using a free video converter like Handbrake. It may sound illogical, but the Handbrake version of mp4 will be accepted by VS without jerkiness.
The other reason for jerky video is that it is 4K and your computer may have difficulty in playing that smoothly in VS. VS, though, has something called SmartProxy which creates a lower quality copy of the original, and that is used in the editing process as it plays smoothly. But when editing is finished the edits are then applied to the original video. You need to be patient, however, since the process of creating the proxy files can take some time.
