Think I may have a solution as to why Filters 5 Refocus is not appearing in the NB Application Manager on the Win 10 laptop

Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium 2021 included NB Filters 5 Ultimate package, part of this package is Filters 5 Refocus, so it is already installed on the laptop, but under a different name, also in VS2021 the package does in fact appear in the NB Filters package of the library, with a 20 other filters.
Checking the full content of the NB filters in the library, indicates this this package is in fact NB Filters 5 Ultimate package, confusing or what...

Check the New Blue Application Manager and ensure that Filters 5 Refocus is displayed and showing as current

I installed the filters, but when I apply them to a video the video is marked with an FX Logo. Any ideas?

Alan -- can we assume you were asked to apply the serial number to activate the filters, either when you applied the first one or, as RobertOZ suggested when the NB Application Manager appears?

Robert -- something strange has happened. I was having trouble reopening Magix Movie Edit Premium. I tried several times but it froze each time. So I rebooted. After that it worked, and it came up slightly different under Effects > Custom Effects. Now there is a "NB Filters" folder containing 26 filters, including all the Refocus filters. You'll remember I said above that Magix had some but not all the Refocus filters. I had gone through it carefully with the Refocus list to one side, and from memory two of them were not there. But now they are! All a bit strange...

NB just reshuffle their filters every year and brand them with new bombastic name, but who cares it they are bundled or free.

Just catching up, slowly, I have just installed the pack and does show in NB app manager.
Viewing Video Studio I just do not know what to look for, do they have Refocus as part of the names
Ken from VFT plugin, what are the file names as I do not see any new entries when viewing Date Created?

So what am I looking for as a file and a FX filter, I have checked the FXNewBlue Filters library but nothing looks new.

The Refocus filters are shown in the FX library of VS2021 in the NewBlue Filters folder, and include, Tilt Shift,Colorize, Dream Glow, Fish Eye, Frame Rate, Soft Focus, Spotlight and Light Leak.
I also did not see any new entries, but if you already have the NB 5 Filters Ultimate package installed, then you will note that Refocus is included with the other 20 filters within that folder.

With VS 2018, the Refocus filters are the only ones showing in the New Blue Filters Folder ie: just the 8 refocus filters

If you go to your Win 10 start menu, then under N for NewBlue, you should find it there.

Downloaded, installed, and activated . . and altho the activation panel lists other NB items that come with 20201ult, there seems to be no differences for refocus 5 in the filters listed in VS2021 - before vs after. Am I missing something?

Thanks. I don't use NB a lot, but the titles in the NB filers group does include the 8 you described previously as the REFOCUS items. Other than that - what is there should be the standard ultimate offering.
