Newbie want an outlined rectangle around something on an image a la earlier versions of PSP

After a couple of decades of putting it off (seriously), I recently made the switch from my old PSP version (ancient v4 running on Win10) to PSP 2022. I held off only because I only need some basic stuff that I use daily updating an info portal site (RSS-based website for my local council on aging), and some Windows 10 Facebook group support that I use screenshot instructions for. I am not yet interested in advanced stuff like layers, tubes, etc, currently.

I just learned my way around the 2022 interface (which looks pretty cool compared to the old version) in the course of customing its interface with the few tools/actions I use daily.

The one thing that I can't figure out is the easy equivalent of adding an outlined shape like a rectangle in order to direct the viewer to something on the image. In the earlier PSP 4 version, its shapes box easily let me do this. On the new 2022 version, I don't see a simple way to do it and have had to use multiple strokes with the pen tool (more work) to create an outlined rectangle, which invokes the Layers.

Isn't there an easier, better way to do this? The 2022 Shapes tool doesn't seem to have the same, simple action from what I can see.

I attached screenshots of both the old, easy way to do what I need and my new 2022, customized interface to show you what I am trying to replicate -a simple yellow, rectangular outline around a part of the image.

Use the rectangle preset shape, make your background color transparent and increase the stroke with to suit your taste. Video attached.

Perfect! Once saving my preferred settings as a preset, I only have to click the box and can then immediately draw my rectangle without any further steps Thank you so much, you're the best!
