How to stitch two images together?

Post by yefim »

Hello,
I recently bought Corel PaintShop Pro 2021, and I could not yet figure out how I can stitch two images/photos together... My task is simple - two photos stitch horizontally or vertically together, and save it to a new image.

I found all kind of merge tools, but it does not do what I simple need.

Please help,
Yefim

If all you need to to do is stitch images together I recommend Microsoft Image composite editor (ICE) it's technically no longer supported or available officially but you can download a copy here:
64-bit version - https://web.archive.org/web/20190223050 ... indows.msi
32-bit version - https://web.archive.org/web/20190309221 ... indows.msi

PSP doesn't do any automatic panoramic stitching - to do it in PSP takes a few steps. Here is Corel's official Panorama stitching tutorial - https://learn.corel.com/tutorials/how-t ... -panorama/

Something as Hugin - Panorama photo stitcher?
http://hugin.sourceforge.net/

or even simpler? XnView has Panorama.

No,

I used a very simple image editor - ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, and it is still on my old computer, but I could not move it to the new laptop.

To stitch two images together horizontally or vertically, you put these images into system, and click Stitch... and it asks hor. or vert. - that is all to it. You can move how you want them to appear in a new images.
