Working with the shapes - help needed!

Post by deepndark »

How would one work with the rounded rectangles, when using shapes and you'd like to have the rounds staying the same, and not change while stretching the dimensions of the shapes?
Also, I could use selection tool and calculate the dimensions, and then color the inner selection, but is there more simple way to make rounded rectangles?
Any corner settings in this software?

If you know any good tutorials or maybe videos, then please share.

Thanks!

For example I do it like this:

- Create a new vector background.
- Select the Rectangle Tool (1).
- Make sure in the tool settings that the options "Show anchor points" and "Create vector" are both activated with a tick (2).
- Draw a rectangle.
- Move the left mouse button over one of the four corner anchor points until you see a cross.
- With the left mouse button pressed, drag the anchor point towards the center of the square (3).
- The corners are now rounded (4).
- Release the mouse button when you are satisfied with the curve.

As with every PSP tool, the whole thing can be reset under the respective tool presettings.
- Select "Reset" and you will have "normal corners" again without much effort (5).

I hope you mean that...
