hello
i'm having problem getting this program to work, VS9 works fine but MF4 wont capture and "video and audio capture properties" is greyed out.
can some one send me or post a copy of your ".ini" files so i can see if there is something wrong with mine.
there should several ini files

Hi,
That would be confusing.
MF4 puts .ini files in the Program_Files directory, all users directory and
the personnel username directory.
Worth trying though:
I would look first in the user directory first, back them up and delete them.
The main configuration files are located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\4.0
I think you may want to compare the DVDMFcap.ini file to that of VS9's equal "HerCap.ini and if there's any ini's in the user directory maybe safely delete them. I think the user directory are the last saved settings etc.
To see these folders you need to activate the option "Show Hidden Folders" under Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options.
