I'm not sure what you mean. But I suspect you might be referring to opening PSP, then closing it and then wanting to reopen. But it doesn't reopen, even though Task Manager shows PSP still open in processes. Is that what you mean?

Unfortunately, yes, that does happen to some users some of the time. But the problem is that it does not affect everyone, and it occurs erratically for those who it does affect. But there doesn't seem to be a way to predict when it is likely to occur. It happens to me every so often, but I have just learned to "End Task" in Task Manager > Processes. Then it will reopen properly.

I used to update annually, but I am waiting for smarter masking and selection tools. PSP is falling behind in this important area.
