PSP X8 not installing

The harddrive that I had PSPX8 installed on died but when I try to install it on the new drive I bought I get a message saying " Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again." and then the initializing the installation window closes.
Must be something in the registry that remembers that it's installed already but I have no idea where to look.
I ran ccleaner hoping that that would take care of it but no luck. Then I searched the registry for corel and manually deleted everything that I was sure had anything PSPX8 to do (took about an hour, lots of entries lol) but it wont install anyway.

Does anyone know how to make my pc forget that PSPX8 was installed before?

Try PSP's cleanup tool - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52337

If that doesn't work, try creating a new admin account and installing from that.
