Using psp 10 and after i have cut out an ellipse from my picture I click the CUTTER PREVIEW I'm not seeing the semi transparent mode want i see that it filled in with a color from the materials block.
I should see the image I just put the ellipse around. From there if it was right I would click SHAPE CUTTER and than save it. Im missing a step somewhere can anyone help me with this? thank you, Ron

Hit the shape Cutter Preview. It's the "eye" icon next to the cutter icon on the toolbar.

Re: using ellipse tool pre shape cutout
As I said I did that in my beginning first step. But when i do it fills in with a color that at the time is on my material pallet. If I turn down the opacity from 100 you can see the cutout but with a tint.
thanks
thanks

My apologies I misread.
You can try resetting PSP to factory settings:https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=67616
If that doesn't work can you show us a screenshot?
